Seminar Abstract: Websites are nearly invisible on mobile. Statistically, the average smartphone user spends 85% of their time in messaging and social—not on websites. Wrap delivers the best content to the right consumer when needed / as needed. We provide a net new presentation layer on the smartphone leveraging HTML5 technology to reduce the odds of multi-tasking and increasing the odds of conversion by viewers capable of consuming content at what we call “The Speed of Thumb™.”
Chris was recruited out of Santa Clara University by an INC. 500 telecom CPE VAR subsequently acquired by Pacific Telesis, and then by Nortel (NYSE: NRTLQ). Chris lead the highest grossing SMB sales team in California when the Meridian 1 Option 11 was launched into that market. Focusing on emerging Computer Telephony solutions thereafter from Applied Voice Technology, InterTel, and ShorTel, Chris launched his own VAR, Net.World (acquired by NetFortris). He was profiled by Harry Newton as “Star of The Industry,” in Computer Telephony Magazine. Most recently, Chris was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at The Telecom Council of Silicon Valley where former Scient (NASDAQ: SCNT) colleagues of his introduced him to Wrap technology, which he introduced to Mobile Network Operators, investors, agencies and the enterprise. Like one of his current investors, Chris crewed on a purse-seiner during college in South Eastern Alaska. Chris holds a BA from Santa Clara University.
